Precision Vacuum Services Ltd. was formed by Simon Davies, Managing Director.

Simon has an extensive and long history within the vacuum industry having started his career back in 1990 as an apprentice with Applied Materials, Implant Division learning the trade building Ion Implanters and latterly as a field service engineer traveling the globe performing emergency repairs.

Since those early days Simon has held service, installation, test and commissioning engineer positions with Thermo Semicon, Thermo Scientific and Edwards.

In 2008 Simon joined and became Service Director for Absolute Vacuum Services Ltd. During his time with AVS Ltd. Simon implemented many quality and standard operating procedures within the service department helping build the excellent reputation for reliability Absolute Vacuum Services gained from its valued customers.

This ethos has been carried over to Simon‘s latest venture, Precision Vacuum Services Ltd. Offering the UK‘s premier vacuum support provider. In particular one of Simon‘s proudest offerings is implementing high quality, OEM specification Scroll Pump Servicing, having been on the process engineering team for Edwards developing the service capabilities for the XDS range of scroll pumps.
